How Important is Fitness for Riders?

I am a health and fitness coach who specializes in helping riders reach their goals. As a barrel racer and reined cow horse competitor, I understand firsthand how developing your fitness can be a huge asset for having more success with your horses and better results in the show pen.  I am also a mother of three and knows that getting and staying fit takes work.

In this episode, Alyssa and I discuss what muscle groups are the most important for riders to develop, how to determine what sort of diet you should be following, and the importance of understanding your “why” prior to embarking on your fitness journey.
